Difference between the following render types?

Vegas has two rendering templates for "MainConcept MPEG-2 (*.mpg)" ie. "DVD Architect NTSC video stream", and "DVD NTSC video stream". These both produce video without audio. Are there absolutely any differences between the two? If not, why have the choice?

IT looks to me like the one for DVD architect simply makes an MPEG-2 file, and the DVD stream is an .M2V file.
