Why Reason Vegas 4 has a different aspect ratios than stantard DV formats? This is more noticeable in the PAL format:

Standard DV: 1,067 for PAL DV (720x576 25FPS) and 1,422 for PAL DV Widescreen.

Vegas 4: 1,0926 aspect for PAL DV and 1,4568 Widescreen

Is there a bug, a wrong aspect in Vegas or is an enhancement?

thanks
sorry my english

Sonic Foundry has worked, apparently harder than the competition, to get these figures spot on as per the ITU/IBU/SMPTE formal specifications. The other NLEs, where they quote the AR, actually result in the Vegas dimension when you play out through calibrated equipment.

I suppose there is a lot to consider when dealing with AR - technical heritage, regionalisation etc. Scan yourself a perfect circle or a test card and see how it appears on your calibrated "TV monitor". There is quite a bit that can go wrong. The brain makes up for a lot of it. Some people don't like seeing themselves, their property or their favourite places in the wrong AR though!

4:3 and 16:9 translate well. Custom sizes might take some thinking about if you move your project between applications.

Others have confirmed that in fact, Sonic Foundry are correct with their figures. Standards have to be interpreted. So assume they have all got it wrong and test out your craft yourself. Measure twice, cut once etc.
