Like to thank everyone who gave me leads on video capture in Vegas. I picked up a Sony digital camrecorder with pass through capabilites and it work out great. Improved color and image. Thank you.

Yay! My only advice here is, pay attention to the contrast when you convert VHS as sometimes you need to add about 10 to 15 % more contrast to get your blacks to normal. This may depend on your playback deck, as my variance with this issue is not consistant and I don't know why some look more washed out than others, but it is easily fixed. (seems if I add any text, it makes it worse. PS: I'm the only person I've heard complaining about this.)

I did notice that also? Thanks for the advice. I had some winter clips that look really washed out.
