Disable 'Expand track layers'

Hi there,

For years I've been extremely annoyed by the fact that every time I accidentally drag a piece of content down, the track goes into 'expand track layers' mode, and I have to undo that basically by clicking right and take away the check mark next to 'expand track layers'.

But even after that there's still a red arrow in my content so I always just re-open the entire project to get rid of it. What's even the purpose of this, and how can I just disable this unwanted 'feature' ?

Thanks!

In recent versions of Vegas Pro, Expanded Edit Mode can be turned off in Preferences by unchecking the 'Double Click event edge to Toggle Expanded Edit Mode' option. In earlier Vegas Pro versions without that Preferences option, it isn't possible to turn that feature off, not even in Internal Preferences.

@marcel-vossen If you have Vegas Pro 20 or 22 you can easily disable this feature in Preferences.
