Disable frames possible?

Hi,

On Vegas 7 I would like to be able to disable all the frames that are drawn along a clip in the timeline so that the TL will redraw faster. Especially with mpeg files it can take a while... I would like just a single frame in the start og maybe in the end also, and then just colored in the middel.

I have searcehed all over, but no luck yet.

Is it possible at all?

Only by turning everything off - frames and wave forms (View > Wave Forms & Frames, or Ctrl/Shift W)

seems like this use to be an option a few vegases back...but i don't think that option is available anymore as I was recently looking for it...and did not find it.

I think xjerx is on to something. I don't have an old version installed to go checking, but i do seem to recall that there used to be an option to show only the first & last frames. With the current version it's either all or nothing.
