Disable 'Rendering Completed' sound?

Hi,

Is it possible to disable the 'Rendering completed' voice alert?

I used to be able to disable this alert sound in an older version of Vegas through the Windows Sound Control panel (see below for pic) but this option hasn't worked for a the last few versions. Vegas just ignores the setting (since Vegas Pro 15 I think?)

I don't need or want to hear this announcement every time I render footage from Vegas, and it gets very annoying in sessions when I'm doing this a lot.

Thanks in advance for any helpful info.

FYI, Vegasaur's Render Assistant voice alert is ON by default. (in case this is Vegasaur)

Turn if off.

I've always used the "nuclear" option since I don't want to produce clicks when I'm recording. It works in Vegas Pro 15-416.

Personally, I find all system sounds annoying. I have a keyboard that gives me plenty of tactile feedback.

+11. I use the same "No sounds" setting in Windows. You can choose though which sound alerts to play.. or not to play.

The Microsoft sound utility app 'Ear Trumpet' has additional options for dealing with system and other applications' sound settings.

THANK YOU! I never thought to look there and that was it. Now I can render in peace again.

Thanks to everybody here who posted helpful suggestions. :)
