My editing rig is NOT connected to internet .. & never have had really any probs with vegas.. so i tend not to keep up with updates (aint broke don't fix it mentality)
Currently.. I am using Vegas 5.0b (build 160)
One thing that i have noticed.. is some times.. audio fades (between two clips) can some times disappear?
I know i had i had a cross fade in on a audio track.. . but all of a sudden.. when i go back to watch the whole segment... i notice i bad audio transition.. i zoom in on the timeline.. and the audio events are flush against each other (no cross fade)...
I do a lot of 'ungrouping' events.. so the audio starts a few moments before video.. then, turning it back on and moving it into position.. this is where the problem seems to show up.
If i go back into the time line.. and click on the 'vertical' transition between the audio track and move it .0001 inch left or right.. bam.. the fade reappears.....
I can only think - nah HOPE - this was a bug that has been fixed in one of the updates??
Any1 experience this before??
Yes, i know i should update.. but i am just SO paranoid about updating/changing ANYTHING .. while i am in the middle of a project..
Anyone know if the current versions/builds of 5.0 will fix this??
thanks!
