Dissolve During Pan/Crop "Spin"?

Grazie wrote on 9/24/2003, 3:55 AM
I've tried and tried . . . can't get it. I've added a Fade, but this fades out on the last k/f section. Clip is still seen till the last bit. I wanna have a nice fade out during the spinning AND finish as the spinning is still going on.

Tried different fade types, adjusted the k/fs in P/C and looked in the VidFXs for something that will make the P/C go transparent DURING the spin.

Any takers?

Grazie

You can try the opacity envelope, take it to 0 when you want it to disapear.

As I thought the opacity envelope takes it to the end . . .

Solution:

1 - Added Transition:Dissolve

2 - Select Dissolve>Fade Through Colour

3 - Here's the clincher - KEY FRAMED - where I wanted the "Fade Through Colour" to start . .

RESULT!!!

Thanks again Udi - But Opacity sets to END, I needed a controllable/gradual/Key Framable fade through whole length of Spin.

Try the Composite Envelope - it's keyframable.
