DivX5.0.1 Pro and VV3......

I rendered a AVI file to a DivX AVI file and it plays back with Windows Media Player yet it comes out as a blank or black screen in Vegas Video. I don't remember for sure but I think it worked before with DivX 5.0 Pro. Anyone have any ideas?

There is some DivX 5.0.1 related stuff on the VirtualDub site - http://www.virtualdub.org/virtualdub_news - it seems there have been significant changes to the codec from 5.0

Thanks for the reply--its not too big of a deal but I was curious. I must say the 5.0.1 rendered file looks much better than a file rendered with DivX 5. I had the original avi captured in Vegas, the 5.0 rendered file and now the 5.0.1 and there is a quality difference.

I will check the link and see what I can find out.
