DL Burning Question

I have authored and Prepared (rendered) a video to a Folder. I have set the Project Options to use 8.5gb Disk. The Rendered Folder is 7.43g. When I go to Burn the Rendered Folder (to a Dual Layer disk), it burns the LeadIn and immediately Burns the LeadOut. The whole process only takes 4 minutes and 43 seconds. The message saying the Disk has been burned successfully and would I like to Burn another is displayed.

Of course my project has not really been burned to the Disk. The Disk has the correct DVD structure (Volume name AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders and all the correct BUP, IFO, VOB files). When I look at the properties of the Disk it only contains 1mb of data.

I can bring the Rendered Folder into DVD Shrink and the whole Video imports correctly.

I have burned 4 DL Coasters now. Anyone have any Ideas what is going on here? Thanks!

Just in case anyone is interested. I ended up having to create an ISO image in DVD Architect instead of burning it directly to disk. Then using DVD Decrypter I imported the ISO image and successfully burned it to the Dual Layer DVD. For some reason DVD Architect Studio 3.0b (build 93) would only write the Leadin and Leadout of the disk.

As a side note, I did try and compress the video enough to fit on a single layer Disk and DVD Architect burned it without any problems. In both cases I let DVD Architect optimize the size.

Well I have the same problem after upgrading DVDa to DVDA 3.0 B. In my case the leading-out process takes 15 minutes...my burner is a sony 810a tcapable of burning +/-DL, and it worked fine in dl mode before the upgrade...
