DLL error

Hi there- Just bought Vegas Movie 9.0 and every time I try to import saved MPEG video from my Sony Handycam, I get DLL errors and the application crashes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Vegas and updated Vista with the lastest updates. Any ideas?

Have you updated Vegas with its latest version though?

I am just uninstalling again....and reinstalling again to ensure I have 9.0b....I'll let you know shortly -- Thanks! I've spent HOURS on this!

So, I completely reinstalled and it's still crashing...my problem is exactly like this by S Simmons -- "Vegas 9b updated crashes my software, inoperable"...I also had issues with the trial and the mcplug dll; where can I find out how to get the mcplug dll I need? With this paid version, the DLL I found for the trial (after hours of searching to fix it is now gone...) There's none loaded with Vegas now...
