I tried to read all the DNxHD threads and got no answer that made sense.

This is an older Vegas project that I need to re-render (I believe it was done in Vegas 14 but it could have been older - honestly can't remember)

Re-converting all the files to something else (e.g. Prores) is not really an option.

I can of course use 16 - but I'm more curious why 17 won't work.

Avid codecs installed.

Quicktime pro installed.

Anyone got any suggestions? (FYI they are video only DNxHD's inside an MOV container)
