I am a fan of Sound Forge and am planning to use Vegas Video. I believe Vegas Video audio functions are quite comprehensive. How much of the Sound Forge 6 functionality is provided? If I get VV3 will I need to purchase SF6 as well for comprehensive audio processing? Thanks John I
There are a few nice things that Sound Forge does that Vegas doesn't. Reversing and ACIDizing are two that come to mind. I also find Sound Forge easier for a lot of tinkering. It "thinks" more the way i do from my old tape cutting and splicing days so i find it easier to work with for audio than Vegas.
On the other hand, Vegas does tons of stuff you can't touch in Sound Forge.
