Docking

I have Movie Studio 15 and I am Moving the Windows around and Re Docking them. I Set my Timeline at the Top of my Screen and now all my Transitions and FX are at the Bottom of the Screen. I Un Docked the PREV Window and I want to Dock it to the Bottom Left. So I Hold the CTRL Key and Drage the PREV Window to the Bottom Left and it Re Docks.

And all the Tabs are on the Bottom of the Screen for the PREV Window the FX Window and the Transitions Window. And I just Click on one to have it open and Display. But I use to have my PREV Window always Displayed at the Bottom Left. And all the FX Widnow and other Tabs would be to the Right on the Bottom. I Hope I am telling this Right? I always had my PREV Window Displaying and the Explore Window would be to the Right of it on the Bottom. And all the Tabs for the other Windows would be on the Bottom Left to Right. My Project Window is 1920x1080 and my PREV Window is 480x270. And this is another thing my PREV Window and Project Window would be set to the Same Size then I would just Drage the Window to Shrink it but it would keep the RES the same. So I could have everything Fit. I Hope you can help?

I suspect the arrangement you are after is not achievable in VMS Studio 15. Did you achieve it in earlier versions?

Thank you for getting back to me all is Ok now.

But I do have one thing I need help with? If I Right Click in the PREV Window a lot of options come up. 1. option says Scale Video To Fit Window. What does this do? 2. option says Ajust Size And Quality For Optimal Playback. What does this do?

They do exactly what they indicate.

1 - If you alter the size of your preview window you will notice the Display size, bottom right under the frame number, automatically adjust as it scales your video preview to fit the new window size.

2 - Automatically adjust playback preview quality (Good, Best, Preview, Draft, and Full, Half, Quarter) away from what you have put it on in order to maintain smooth playback. During timeline areas of heavy processing, such as transitions, you may notice the preview quality temporarily drop and then recover as it moves on to an easier to process patch.
