I looked through their download site but didn't see it anywhere.
I'm sure it'll be there soon.
In the meantime, is there no online help menu with it?

Yes there is a video QuickStart which is supposed to be available on the Sony site. They just probably haven’t updated the web page for Production Assistant yet. There is also a full training DVD.

I know it’s confusing without an overview but the QuickGuide will take you through a couple of workflows and you’ll be able to pick it up pretty quickly.

There is a User’s Guide under :
Start | All programs | Sony | Production Assistant 1.0 | Production Assistant 1.0 User’s Guide

I d/led the demo last night & found it pretty straight forward. Some really nifty stuff there that makes doing things that are simple in principle but a decent amount of time. I do like how it's an extension so it can be it's own window in a multi-monitor setup. Very very sweet. :D

Only disappointing thing imho is the montage. It seems very simple in what it can do compared to Excalibur, but the lower 3rds & motion are pretty neat. Sadly, for what i do I most likely won't buy it because when I need to do something like that I have to customize it.

Where is the download link for the trial??

I tried the "trial link" on the product assistant page and it brings me over to to Sony's master listing for all trials.... PA isn't there.
