Does anyone know how to create STATIC SCREEN effect in Vegas Pro 16?

Hey Guys. Anyone know how to do the effect like the old TV's used to do, if you changed it to a channel that did not get reception?Also, a TV turn off effect? Thanks!

@daniel-t2081 - If you mean Static? Easily done with a Noise GenMed.

Also, a TV turn off effect? Thanks!

@daniel-t2081 - Something where the CRT discharges? Yup that’s doable too.

Here's how I'd go about it, if I just wanted to use Vegas' tools. I would probably go back and speed up the motion using the velocity rubber band (assuming that will work, haven't tested it) to make the static move even faster (that, or if it will let you, set that value higher than 10, or make the entire sequence shorter so it reaches 10 faster. If you need a long sequence of fast static, but must shorten the sequence to make it fast (not sure), then just make a bunch of copies of the sequence and fade them into each other.).

You could further tweak it from there with some of the TV effects built into Vegas.
