Does Customer/Technical Support Exist?

Just throwing out a bitch fest, hoping that maybe one of these lazy jerks will see that people get upset that they can not use their product they paid for, because they are too bloody lazy to do a simple serial number reset.
3 weeks, and 3 request, but can Sony get someone off their fat butt to do a simple 3 second long support request.
God forbid no.
Is anyone else waiting to use the product they bought, but can not because of this crappy serial number submission? If you have to reinstall your machine more then twice, your screwed, because they will not let you register it.

When i've had this problem (a grand total of twice now after about 250 successful reinstalls), a call to their toll free number has gotten it resolved within a minute. True, they're not open after hours or weekends, but surely sometime during the last three weeks you could have found a minute to call them during office hours.

Chien,

250 installs? That's a lot of hard disk or OS crashes!

Do you do installs for schools or something?

Running on several different PCs, lots of different SONY software packages, lots of versions, lots of updates, quite a few "pre-release" versions, which usually require uninstall and reinstall for each new build, and yes, a few OS reinstalls too.

Oddly enough, the only two that i've had the "too many activations" problem with are SIREN and Viscosity, both sadly now discontinued. But even still, one phone call opened up my serial number again.
