The frameserver would not be the right interface for that package. If Satish would provide a filter or transient PlugIn that could be used for the Hollywood FX package. We will have to ask him for that additional plugin if he got some spare time left he might be interested in doing it ;-)

Thank you for the AP + MSP + V4 frameserver anyway!

Apologies for being opinionated, but as an ex-Pinnacle user I suggest we NOT ask Satish to build interfaces for their products. The payoff/investment matrix in doing so would simply be too low.

On the other hand, I am willing to bet that there are a ton of Pinnacle converts on this forum that could benefit. I for one am one.

Lots of Pinnacle compatible plug-ins, useless now.

You could still take the clips you wanted into Studio 8 or what ever Pinnacle product you used to use, add your HFX while there, render it as an AVI file & import it back into Vegas.

In this case you could not benefit from the gooood SoFo DV codec - which only can be used from within Vegas (and hopefully sometimes with the PlugIn Pack to access the HFX package)
