Now dont get me wrong - I love Video Factory (wish I could
afford Vegas Video) - the interface is the best I have seen.
But the MPEG encoder absolutely sucks - and from what I
have seen in these forums I am not the only person that
thinks so.
Its slow, does not write a standard MPEG-2 compliant file
and the CODECS are not freely available stopping you from
playing your created works on another person's computer -
most anonying trying to show off your work at a clients
site.
With more and more people wanting to create their own
SVCD/mini DVD's and DVDR (just can't wait untill I get that
DVDR recorder) how does Sonic Factory expect
VideoFactory/Vegas Video to compete ???
I would be rellay interested in hearing a reply from Sonic
on this - I would be amazed to here that have a new version
of the MPEG plugin that fixes all of the dramas of before.
