Does Vegas 5 support TRV720?

The Vegas 5 Video Hardware Compatibility List (in the Vegas 5 announcement web page) does not show that Vegas 5 supports my digital video camera, the

Sony TRV720.

Instead, "If you have questions about video hardware that does not appear on this list, you are encouraged to post a question in our online forums."

So, if I buy Vegas 5, will it support my video camera? Are there any exceptions or concerns?

Assuming it's a DV camera with a firewire interface should work just fine.
You could always downlad the evaluation version of Vegas and try it!

PS you'll need a firewire card in your PC.

I believe that the 720 is a Digital8 model. It is almost a certainty that Vegas will support your camera, as far as I know, Vegas supports the entire D8 line. Let just say that I would be extremely surprised if it didn't.
