Does Vegas Video Link AVI files that exceed the file size? I can not get it to link them-- when the 4GB limit is reached, it automatically stops capture.
Can I capture from a VHS tape to MPEG format to avoid the file size?
I have NTFS, so I do not run into this issue. However, VV's VidCap utility is suppose to create successive avi files when the 4GB barrior is met on non-NTFS partitions. It does not "link" them, but does name them in order.
I thought it did link them, but that's not my area of expertise. It only does file splitting for DV / Firewire capture, but not with analog boards.

So if I want to use MPG to capture analog to avoid the 4GB limit, how do I get it to work? (ATI All-In-Wonder-Pro 128) I do not even have an option for any type of mpg capture.
Thanks
