Win7_64bit, 12Gb RAM
Vegas 11P_64bit , v521

Geoforce GTX 560Ti, 1024Mb dedicated video memory (GDDR5)
Nvidia Driver: 295.51 (beta)

Vegas now much more stable (and usable) EXCEPT for stabilization, so using Deshaker instead.

Thanks gripp!

OK . .

1] Have you got BOTH 32 and 64 VP installed?

2] Had you had the previous nVidia: 285.62 : ? If so, how was that for you?

Cheers

G

gtx 550ti igb mem 295.51

vegas 10 & 11 64bit only installed

all running reasonably smoothly so far - not doing any heavy duty editing (fx/cc'ing/etc.,) though at the moment.

had a couple of white outs with 285.62, especially with ofx.

GTX 570 and currently 295.51 drivers
All 32 and 64 bit versions of v9 , v10 and v11 installed (mainly for testing purposes)

GTX 8800 512 driver 295.51
V10E32,V10E64, V11520, V11521
6 gig ram
Vista 64 Ultimate
User Account Control off
Cineform 5.62
Very light editing and haven't tried many items. Some Cineform clips show minor squigglie video tears in V11520 but not V10E.

Win 7 x64 fully patched.

521 very stable. Occasional crash after saving a .veg file, but the file is intact. Some crashes when previewing AVCHD with yadif applied.

Performance with GPU superior to no GPU. i7-950.

I still have 10e on the machine, and 11 32 and 64 bit installed.

Using New Deshaker, BCC7 chroma key.

Grazie,

I have VP10e_64 installed as well as VP11/521_64.

Can't remember the previous Nvidia drivers, but the latest beta are the best yet!!

Vegas 11_64bit, v521

Quadro 4000 video card

Before I upgraded to Vegas 11 v521, had a variety of "odd" issues, random crashes, flickering or blank screens, missing key frames, etc. After v521 I have not had a single problem.

As far as GPU, Vegas would not recognize the Quadro 4000 in the GPU drop down until I installed the latest Nvidia driver 276.52. Now it does, all is well.

I am not a "power user" of Vegas, but I do have my moments.

This is mine

nVidia 560 GTX 2Gb Video Card
Disabled.
I should endable again?
NLE seems to run better without it.
GPU enhances?
Don't think so.
What are we trying to find out here?
Running Vegas 11, 64 bit

tried to install 285.62 but won't install.
Continuing with CPU only, and wondering why I spent money on the GPU.

So far a lot better. I actually tried the 290 beta driver, not my happy place.
