does windows media player have dolby dynamic range compression?

I ask because on Mac its a default setting in the mac player and makes our DVD sound terrible.

we are writing a read me that tells how to disable dolby dynamic range compression on mac and would like to include on windows but i cant find the setting in WMP

any audio settings i do see are greyed out except Stereo or surround
