They are both socket 939 and should be compatible.
You might look at NewEgg.com for better prices.
There are many 939 Mobos out there, I never heard any review on this Viper. ASUS makes a good line of boards at decent prices. NewEgg always seems to be among the lowest and they are an absolutely rock solid retailer. have fun.
