Same thing here. I simply reinstalled the full Mercalli version and the Vegas plug-in that I purchased last year and everything works. While installing it actually asks which versions of VP you want it installed on and since I have 14, 15 and 16 on my PC, it asked about each version.

Home built PC - Corsair case, ASUS ROG Maximus XI Code motherboard, i9 9900k, 64GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz,  Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24GB graphics card, Corsair 1000 watt power supply. Windows 11.

VP 21 BCC 2024 Boris FX Continuum Complete, Titler Pro v7. Various NewBlue effects.

Another way is to copy the Mercalli plug-in from the VP15 folder to the VP16 folder.

@james-ollick : Thanks James. A two minute result. Done and done . . .

@Marco. : Yeah, I don't like tinkering with Plugin Navigation and C&P . .

Many thanks James-ollick and Marco. Being the curious type I had to try Marco's suggestion.

I found this file C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 15.0\proDADMercalli20.dll,  but it was already in both VP15 and VP16.

I then found these 2 folders and copied them to VP16, worked a treat.

C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 15.0\OFX Video Plug-Ins\proDADMercalli4CmosFixr.ofx.bundle\

C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 15.0\OFX Video Plug-Ins\proDADMercalli4Stabilizr.ofx.bundle\

I guess its time to do a post now for Pluraleyes!

@Former user

Pluraleyes 4.1 will work in Vegas pro 16

Copy the file "PE4Vegas14.dll" which is in the folder:

"C: \ Program Files \ Red Giant \ PluralEyes 4"

and paste it in the:

"C: \ ProgramData \ VEGAS Pro \ Application Extensions"

Open Vegas Pro 16 and go to Tool - Extensions - PluralEyes 4

Many thanks Joelson-Forte, I cannot mark it as solution as "solution" already used for Mercalli, only one allowed, works perfectly.

I wonder if these two issues/solutions, Mercalli and Pluraleyes might be put up as a FAQ by a moderator?

I can no longer find the old VP15 stabilizing in the VP16 list. It can only be used if it has been previously inserted in a VP15 project. Was something wrong with the installation? How do I fix this?

Desktop: Ryzen R7 2700, RAM 32 GB, X470 Aorus Ultra Gaming, Radeon RX 5700 8GB, Win10 2004

Laptop: T420, W10, i5-2520M 4GB, SSD, HD Graphics 3000

VEGAS Pro 14-18, Movie Studio 12 Platinum, Vegasaur, HOS, HitfilmPro

Nothing wrong. The old stabilizer is replaced by the new one and only held behind for compatibility reason.
