for some reason when I change my project properties from 1 to 2.222 my frame rate playback changes from 8 to 15 fps playback at preview full (with color FX and animated text over it).

it would appear that vegas has some optimization for this gamma setting or something, but it also seems that when this occurs I don't have as much room to play around in my HDV footage, soooo...

I guess it's a give and take situation.
