Just downloaded it. The speed was smokin', too.

Are you getting an actual (Sony branded) page that says the server is down or just message from your browser? If the latter, I'd suspect a network or firewall issue. If the former, it appears to be fixed now.

I'm running 64 bit Vista. I tried in Firefox, then in IE. I've cleared my cachce. I turned off my firewall. I was able to download and register 4.5, as I thouhgt that may need to be on my system first, but when I try to download 5.0, I keep getting this page message....

The Sony Creative Software web site is temporarily undergoing scheduled maintenance. Check back soon. The product pages, forums, and online registration systems will once again be functioning properly.

Should you continue to have difficulty accessing this site, please contact Customer Service online at http://www.custcenter.com or toll free at 1-800-577-6642 from 9AM to 5PM Central Time.

Any other thoughts? Thanks!

Clear your cookies, start at http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/default.asp and try again.

Either you are blocking cookies, trying to download from a different server, or trying at a time of high web congestion.

The download starts immediately, and sustains the full download speed my connection will allow. No problems here.

I eventually went to the root directory, by taking the .exe portion off of the the web address. I was able to right click the .exe from there and save link as... I'll bet it's something funny with my ISP.
