drag and drop stabilize option ?

Hey guys,

Just wondering if there is a way to add the media effects "stabilize" into the vegas pro timeline?

What I mean is rather than the " right click>media effects>stabilize>enter " routine, to just simply drag and drop.

I use it quite a lot so it would speed up my editing. Not sure if Production Assistant helps with this?

Any suggestions would be good!

Create a subclip of your timeline event before applying stabilize.

Update: I tried this using v.13 and it didn't work. My memory was it worked in earlier versions, but then my memory isn't what it used to be. It looks like the effect must be applied to the media or subclip prior to putting on the timeline.

Never know before in VP12, subclip is enough...

But still, by trimming the event, leave unused part of recording (in case there's excessive movement) and subclipping it, the process will just be done on that 'selected' area only.
