Drag & Drop Gone? - Vegas 8.1 W7 (x64)

Greetings,

I am using Vegas 8.1 Pro x64 (on Windows 7 64 bit).

I have no idea what I changed, but drag-and-drop into the project from the Windows Browser stopped working last week and I can't find out how to reactivate it.

That is, all media, images, video, audio files. If they are in the Media window, there's no problem, it's not to do with codecs, just dragging from the Windows Browser onto a project...

I searched the help for options and the options themselves and also re-installed the program but no result :(

Any help/ideas would be appreciated.

This is an issue with windows 7 and it's security model. Depending on whether the two apps you're dragging between were both run in admin mode or not it may or may not work.

The only way I've found to get this to work consistently is to turn off UAC mode.
