This is not a big issue but one that I thought I would throw out here on the forum.
Before version 14 (or at least back to 12 since I haven't used 13) when you clicked the mouse arrow on the projects time ruler, you could drag the ruler right or left without changing the position of the play cursor. The video would just keep playing which worked so well and gave me a lot of control in the movement. Might sound trivial but I do that a lot during editing.
Now, since version 14, when you click on the time ruler the video snaps backward or forward to the point where the mouse arrow clicked on the ruler which I don't care for. (and I can do that by clicking anywhere in the timeline)
I thought if I just used it for a while the change would make sense, I might see the benefit or reason for it. The benefit eludes me.
I tried using the horizontal scroll bar instead but you don't have anywhere near the control with it. It is very quick and jerky and gives you little control.
Is there a setting that for this? I have looked everywhere I could think of. Maybe in the Internal Preferences? I am a bit wary of getting into those settings.
