Last weekend I was recording a band into 14 tracks of vegas.

The usual thing was after recording a take, vegas would
draw the waveforms, but sometimes (3 times in one day
infact) as soon as I pressed stop the waveforms were done
instantly, no waiting. Can someone explain.
