$3399 ?? That sounds pricy to me. I have been pricing out the parts for a Dual Xeon system and can build the whole system with all SCSI cheaper than that system.

Ahh, yes...but can you do it with the Sonic Foundry suite of software and mass produce it for that? :0) What impressed me about these two systems is that they are built around the Sonic Foundry suite of software. I haven't seen that before. The basic system ($2,999) appears to be everything I would need for professional level output to video or DVD. Of course, the upgraded system would be the best value as it includes the Canopus converter for anolog to digital. Man, that would be nice!
