Thought I might post this here so one of you hardware gurus could help---I am working a job. They guy has an external LaCie firewire drive that had been formatted for the Mac. I reformated the drive for Windows---saw the drive in My computer, checked in disk management and got the thumbs up there. Unfortunately when I go to copy files onto the newly formated external, it doesn't work. I get a message that the hardware can't recognize the file type (of course its avi). Tried a second formating and still the same problem--Any ideas.
