Can someone please help? I am having audio drop-outs when transferring my finished product back to VHS. I record clips into my computer through a Canopus ADVC-100 from a SVHS machine. I render my finished product onto my hard drive and it plays back perfectly. I have tried to send it to tape and preview on monitor, both have the same result. The audio drop-out is only about 1 to 2 seconds long but happens in different places every time and from 1 to 10 times throughout the transfer. The final project is 50 min. long.

The system is an Athalon 2400 w/ 512 meg of pc-2700 ddr RAM. The video card is an ATI AIW Radion early basic 32 meg model. The sound card is a generic brand sound blaster live 5.1. The hard drives are both 7200 ATA100. One hard drive is used for the storage of the video files, the other is used for the system. I am running Windows XP Prof.

Does anyone have any input or suggestions? Let me know if more information about the system or problem is needed. I am using vegas 4.
