Has anyone a simple way of providing a drop shadow to a button so that if the button size increases it is not necessary to go back to the graphic programme to alter it?
Steve thanks but that drop shadow only works on text. We are trying to find a way of adding a drop shadow to a button image without having to go back and forth to a graphics programmel
Especially if you're just using it behind square buttons, you could create one black square graphic (or dummy button) and offset it slightly behind your button to create a shadow effect.
Great idea guys about a dummy button. Is this something that I can create in DVDA or must it be imported from the graphics programme? The problem with the latter is if I want to rescale it in DVDA behind a button that may be larger, or smaller, in size.
..."the New Button button on the Buttons panel".? All I seem to see is an insert button in that panel. What does the " new button button" look like please?
tried what you suggested to get a drop shadow but the balck image created only overlays the chapter button image and even with the object position command black rectangle stays ontop of the button and doesnt go underneath
Any ideas how to move the black image beneath the chapter image?
