Drop Shadows on Menu Items?

It's easy to add and adjust drop shadows on text in DVDA2. I'm wondering if it is possible to also add a drop shadow to other elements of DVDA2 menus. I have been using EncoreDVD and just purchased DVDA2 in hopes of getting better interaction w/ VEGAS5. In EncoreDVD you can add a drop shadow to pictures, logos, animated buttons, or any other element you place on your menus.

Is there a way to do this in DVDA2 or am I limited to only being able to add drop shadows to text?

So, is noone using Drop Shadows in their menus?

Their must be a lot of boring menus out there.
(because we all know that you need a Drop Shadow to make a cool menu)

There most certainly are a lot of boring menus out there, but I don't think it's because of DVDA's lack of a drop shadow feature. It's because people lack creativity. ;-) And I'm not excluding myself in that, either.

At any rate, I rely on Vegas and Paint Shop Pro for creating the "cool" content of my menus and then use DVDA to pull it altogether. For example, I'm having a lot of fun with mask overlays, but the feature is pretty much pointless if you don't develop the mask with an image program first.

Personally, if I want a drop shadow on an image, I add it to the image itself in PSP; the same can be done for thumbnail buttons. In fact, as far as I can tell, a lot of the buttons included with DVDA already have shadows incorporated into the image itself. Personally, I like the "sunken" ones better.
