DSE's Editing Workshop book...

Got my copy today! Looks good so far. (I have not had a chance to get into the book much yet).

The book comes with a 484 MB 'companion video project' CD with a bunch of .veg files, pictures, audio, video, scripts, and even some software (+ more).

The content on the CD-ROM is worth the price of the book, IMO.

SPOT, I do have a question for you...

The .veg files and the other content on your CD, can I use them for my own projects?

Thanks for the book,

Jon

Sounds great. I thought we would never see this book. Appreciate more details once you have a chance to get into it. I have DSE's DVD Series and I'm wondering if it would be redundant to buy the book.

Most of them are watermarked, but those that aren't, are usable. I'm not sure if you'll find anything of use there though.

Thanks, SPOT.

Well, the .veg files are helping me learn, so they are useful in that manner.

David...I don't have the DVD's, so I can't compare the two myself. Maybe someone else has both the book and the DVD's....?
