Not sure if this will be much help, but I have used a DSR-45 with VV 3.0c for both capture and PTT and had zero problems. I am looking to buy a DSR-25 as soon as I can get the funds together.

I have the DSR-11--perfect mate for Vegas---never a a problem nor nearly a tweak!

The DSR-11's have been known to have an audio sync problem. Have any of you run into this yet?

No I haven't and this is the first I heard of it-----are you referring to output to an NTSC monitor through the DSR-11--If so, that isn't a problem with the DSR-11---it could be a function of the power of your computer and a host of other things---the face remains that on final rendering there are no synch issues. Remember, external monitor are best use for color correction and framing---
