Well i'm thinkin' about buyin' a Dual XP2100+ but i wonder something:
Can i really do a render in background without loosing speed for do a other work in the same time?
I say that thinking that i will use different HDs for video than windows and software!
So perhaps the memory bandwith of AMD760mpx is not large enough to really work while it render!!

Tell me BOXX users ))

I have a dual AMD xp 1900+ and I was working on a big project all weekend. Most of the time I was rendering in one window and editing in another. I noticed no slowness. It was perfect.

I have a raid 0 HD arangment and 1 gig of RAM, wich I'm sure helped too.

Same story with the Boxx- excellent performance. Zero dropped frames ever.

You will need Dual MP's not XP's in case you are building this yourself.
Only older bios versions support XP's in a dual motherboard.
AMD will not ever support Xp's in a dual system so you can't call them if you need help. This goes for motherboard support as well.
Dual Athlons kick butt. I have seen vv run with 3 projects rendering in the background and still be able to playback at the same time.
