"I think you'll get used to dual monitors pretty quicky and, after a while, you'll never be able to go back to a single monitor."

I think you're right John. I've played all day with it and it's starting to rub off. I'm in the process of setting up and saving different layouts and it's actually working out quite well.

like John Cline

I have 2 monitors in front of me and 38 on my right and a glass pane on my left I feel like like a fish in a fish bowl with an expensive back panel. There is a lot of heat
From 38 panels.

a friend of mine lightads who on occation posts here uses a 37 inch monster. when I am at his place I plug in an extra panel so that I can have 2 panels but on his system i dont need eye glasses
which is a bonus

I still prefer 2 monitors

Dual 22 here. But did everyone forget to have a huge CRT screen to check for interlace problems? Or is that old school? My third screen is a 30" old school CRT TV monitor. Maybe I will send them to goodwill after Feb. 19 and not worry about old school people with their big tubes. Maybe I'll get rid of them now before nobody will take them.

Deep down, I'm still a CRT guy. In addition to the two 24" LCD computer monitors and the 42" LCD monitor, I have a 13" CRT Sony production monitor and a 34" "ultra-fine-pitch" HD CRT monitor. LCD, plasma and DLP systems can all produce great images, but I still think my 34" HD monitor produces among the best images I've ever seen. Although, it's kind of like a British sports car, it takes some regular tweaking to keep it running well (looking good.)

I have a 29" TV that is hooked up to a BoB. The problem is the box only works with Liquid which I rarely use anymore. I can still use it to see what needs to be done to the video and maybe do some initial color correction in Liquid and then do the real work in Vegas. :-)

BTW - When is Sony going to update this forum with something from the 21st Century?

Sure, it could have a few more features but, overall, I like the look and feel of this forum.
