The strangest thing! I've transferred some old 8mm cassette film out of a video camcorder and recoreded it directly into my DV camera (Panasonic NV-MX7) and moved it into Vegas for editing.
The video and audio transferred reasonably well however on playback in Vegas there is a continuous, regular and constant loud clicking noise much the same as a very loud ticking clock! This sound continues all the while the film plays and is not affected by change the sound track volume - seems to be imbedded in the film rather than an audio issue, so to speak.
Has anyone got any thoughts on this please?
