I worked in Pro Tools years before. The ONLY thing i loved so much against the VEGAS was the DULPICATE function (AudioSuite).
I wolud like to use this simlpe but great function in VEGAS too. The render to new track needs much more step to have the final duplicated take, the Open Copy in.. doesn't allow to open more than ONE take in the editor sotware (SF6 for eg.)
I just want to select multiple takes, right click, then press "DUPLICATE". The new file sholud be a new take. (but not separated)
This method soluld buid a NEW audiofile WITHOUT ANY AUTOMATION (only with the ASR curves, at the SAME LEVEL, as the takes have. This is important, becouse i dont want to create a new track at 0dB level, then move the takes there, solo the track and say "Render"...
This thing is all about to modify takes with my good old FusionFilter and FX like that.. I need at least 8 bars DUPLICATED takes to get the filter sweep right.
I dont feel the automation so powerful at this moment (curve editing)..
Wat do you think about, guys?
