DV Capture and Preview - Help !

please advise me on selection of OHCI Card for capturing and external preview. I tried Pinnacle studio DV 1394 card but on selection of external monitor I get
"This device supports recompression
Hot pluggable device
Device unavailable"
is it means the card is not curactly installed or it will not support?
any one used pinnacle cards with vv3

ADS Pyro or SIIG 1394 cards DEFINTELY work.

I have used my old StudioDV card, and it works fine. You may have a configuration problem.

Make sure you have a 1394 device turned on, connected, and set to VTR mode.
