DV Clips not seperating?

When capturing dv into vegas my project is usually split into clips determined by when I pressed record and stop on the camera.
Lately my last three projects are being captured by vegas as one big clip. Is there a way of setting the timecode sensetivity in preferences or anyhere else.

Set the clock in your camera and all should be fine from this point forward. You'll have to split these particular tapes MANUALLY.

Make sure you have "Enable Scene Detection" option selected in the Capture tab of the Preferences Menu in vidcap - yeah? If you've got this then I don't know. The other question is what has happened between THEN and NOW.
