DV multi-generational degradation??

I'm working on a project with a large amount of (VV3) video effects. Many of the effects have been "pre-created" in VV in separate sections (they are complex), and then are rendered and imported into the "main show".
I then am rendering (as a new track) segments within the main show (including the brought over video effect tracks). I do this to minimize playback errors as I continue to edit the show. It also minimizes the final render time, when it's time to layback the show to tape.
Does anyone know if there is any loss of quality, since all of this work remains in the DV domain, and if there is a loss, is it an appreciable one?

As long as there are no additional filters, titles or transitions applied to the imported clips, there will be no degradation. Any DV footage that is unmodified will simply be copied to the new file and no decompression/recompression cycle will take place.

You won't see much if any via the Sonic Foundry DV codec on multi rendered sections in Vegas 3. You can always render to uncompressed if needed. About 5 times more storage space required over DV.
