Dvd Archetect 6.0 serial number

I tried to update DVD Architect version 5.2 to 6.0 after my computer crashed last week. I had it prior to my crash,

I had installed it when it first came out using the serial number for DVD Architect 5.2 (which is up and running again). The problem is it won't let me register it on line it says my serial number has to begin with 1DJ (it starts with 1DD ).

So whats the fix, do I have to buy 6.0 even though I had it installed prior to the crash?

6 should have a separate serial number. If you registered it originally, you can go to your account online and retrieve the serial.

It was not a free upgrade from 5.2, but you may have got it when you upgraded Vegas.

Dave...your right, and I feel like an idiot...that's what you get when you lead the cart before the horse...I looked in my software under my account listed above and there was my serial # for DVD Architect 6.0.
