For motion menus, first-play with buttons, ease of use, and easy slide-show authoring it's the typical head-and-shoulders-above-in-it's-price-range Sonic Foundry product. And I believe it comes with 5.1 surround encoding. My only disappointment is that, unlike PE, it looks like you can't set end-actions, something I would sorely miss.

Agree with Paul...

If you were buying something out of the gate, there'd be no question, but you're not so gonna have to be a personal decision based on cash you've got lying around. What would do it for me is the ability (which will be there) to set markers whilst editing, then use those for chapter points - I hate that grind.

On the down side, I'm still dealing with fallout from the beta install on my system. Haven't heard or seen a lot of this so maybe it's just me in particular for having built a house of cards so-to-speak -- far too often take that not recomended statement as a personal challenge. ;p
