i have had dvd architech studio 5.0 for one year and it worked great
i could retrieve bluray iso files and burn a bluray disc no problem
today, however, when i start the burn, it appears to start and after about two minutes, it finalizes and ejects, thinking it is complete, but no recording.
have tried several times, using up a new blank each time

i have sony vegas and recently had to reset defaults, does that effect dvd architech?
i am stalled on making discs

Worst case, you can use the great free download ImgBurn to burn your ISOs as BluRay discs.

DVDA is dead in the water. Sony has abandoned it & no longer updates it with the Vegas update. Switch to Adobe Encore. It is 64bit.

I had the same issue. After many emails with SCS, they pointed me to the link below. It may not be what you are ready to hear, but it worked for me back in January with DVD Architect 5.2. I printed the instructions and keep them in the box the software was delivered in. I can't make the link live so copy/paste it. One last thing, without knowing your pc make, model, OS, it may not be the answer. This solution is for Win 7 x64. Follow the instructions carefully and with conviction.

Several people here and elsewhere have suggested that DVDA is no longer but I wonder if this is right as Sony still send it out with at least some versions of Vegas Pro 12.

you are right
go to sony page and you can download dvda 5.2
i will be trying a new project in dvda and then see if it burns it from the fresh project.
so far it won't burn an old project on a blu ray from the hard drive

Dennis:

If you go to My Account/My Software, you will see all the software that is registered to you. Did you try downloading a fresh copy and reinstalling? That may help and it won't affect any saved DVD-A projects you have.

Once you have a freshly installed DVD-A, try creating a test project and see if that works. A DVD-RW will let you test without wasting good DVDs.

Ditto with everything you said. Just burned my first Blu-ray with Encore, complete with pro pop-up menu. Love it.

To be fair, DVDA was easy to put together a Blu-ray version of any DVD project I was working on. Just replace the video file and alter the project setting. Boom. Done. But the burning was always a problem, so I started using ImgBurn long ago.

With Encore however, I can actually put out similar BD's to what the studios are offering.
