The only change I am aware of is branding and lack of AC3 Pro.

I've noticed that when encoding HD video down to DVD, the encoding seems a bit faster than with DVDA6, which was dreadfully slow. It's somewhere in the neighborhood of real time on my system, which is still slow but is an improvement none the less. Haven't done any tests to confirm it yet, though.
