Hello,
Quick(& probably dumb) question..
I recently made a DVD w/Vegas & DVD Architect..
Basically, it is a concert I shot on MiniDV w/Menus, etc..
The audio for the concert is from the camera @48000
The audio I used for the menu is from a CD->wav @44100
I used BeSweet to encode both audio files to STEREO AC-3.. same settings for both..
when I finished the DVD & put it in my player hooked up to a sony reciever set on AFD(auto format decode) the menu audio was fine in Dolby Digital 2.0
BUT
the audio for the actual program was in "Dolby Pro Logic" not Dolby Digital 2.0
now obviusly I can set it manually to stereo if I wanted to.. but I thought it would automatically be 2.0
The only differece I can see in the original AC3 files used was the one in stereo was 44100 & the one in pro logic was 48000, I am assuming DVD Architecht up converted my 44100 to 48000
does this make any sense... is there a way to fix this? It could be just my reciever is reading it wrong.. who knows...
Thanks..
